Textile company HOSOO has been keeping up tradition since 1688, when it was founded in Kyoto, then the capital of Japan. The centuries-old technique of Nishijin fabric production combines different types of yarn for a three-dimensional effect. HOSOO fabrics – previously used for traditional garments like kimono and obi belts – are now chosen by fashion houses including Dior, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Bulgari.
