"The studio of progressive designer Christopher Boots was founded in Melbourne in 2011 and soon gained popularity around the world. The studio's industrial style is expertly crafted and inspired by ancient myths, the Baroque paintings of Rembrandt, and the natural world. Materials include brass, marble and Brazilian quartz.
All luminaires are handmade by talented and experienced masters, among which glass blowers, metalworkers, ceramicists, sculptors, braziers, and crystal technicians. All light fixtures can be adapted to spaces of any size and architecture. Even large-scale light fixtures are handcrafted.
Christopher Boots' luminaires decorate Cult and Hermès stores, the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, and Elenberg Fraser. Pieces come in limited editions.
